Around 5pm, a significant number of users started experiencing difficulties accessing the Facebook platform, leading to reports of service disruption. In addition, the outage appeared to affect the availability of recent posts.
Furthermore, reports emerged indicating that Instagram and WhatsApp, both platforms owned and operated by Facebook, were also affected by the outage.
